Both me (Pikto) and Eska would like to say thank you to all the people who helped us to organize the event.

It was a truly fantastic day with loads of great artists, who've done a great job out there. All the walls look amazing and everyone is very, very pleased.

This wouldn't have happened without Tom (SkyHigh) and CAB 69, who spent all the evenings preparing the boards. Thank You guys so much for this!!

...and my brother Adam, who was always there for us...Thanks!

Thanks:

...to my amazing wife - Ambret, who supported me when things got complicated.

...to SWR crew, who came all the way from Poland to paint.

...to all photographers, filmmakers, musicians and writers...You ware Fantastic!!

Big THANK YOU to Heatham House for hosting the event and taking care of all the little details!

Very Special thanks to Magda, who took a huge part in organizing the event and connected us with Make-A-Wish Foundation®UK

I also wanted to thank to you all who donated Make A Wish foundation. We really appreciate your help. The fundraising web site will be going on for the next few months, so if you'd like to support us further, you can still do so by going to the justgiving web site:

2011 Artists

We are delighted to announce the great lineup for this years Splash!!
I must admit that it was extremely hard to choose the artists and with a big regret need to say that the list is now closed due to lack of any more wall space.
There is a huge interest in the event which always makes us happy and we'd love to have you all there painting with us so if it all goes well-we'll try to expand next time...

Splash Art Session 2011

Splash Art Session is an annual event that celebrates and promotes street art.

This year's brand new edition will take place in Twickenham, London, UK on Saturday the 23rd of July.

As the event grows we thought it might be a good idea to invite other partners. That's why this year we are being backed up by Heatham House Youth Centre and Make A Wish Foundation.

The Theme is: "Graffiti saved my life" - which will also promote a charity action carried on together with Splash Art Session. We are working out the program at the moment and are very happy that it's becoming very busy with plenty DJ's and artists on the stage

Splash 2010 new place

Unfortunately we had to change the place for this year's Splash session.
The new place is called 'The Pit' - which is situated very close to Portobello market.
You can find the map here. If you are coming from the junction of Wornington Road and Golborne Road, you won't miss it. It is in a Basketball court (walls around 2,3-2,5m) set partly below pavement level - similarly to Aytoun Place at Stockwell.
'The Pit' was London's first ever Hall of Fame, but activity here has been sporadic recently, so I hope that we can give it a totally new look...

Hopefully the weather will be stunning, otherwise we'll be painting in the Waterloo Tunnel...

Stay tuned to the site for updates...

The Prince Albert

The Prince Albert is a pub at the heart of vibrant Brixton located on 418 Coldharbour Ln !map!. It will host the after party for us which will start at 7PM on the 29th of AUG. "Albert" supports us with some background paint which we need a lot. Big thanks for that!
It offers everything you look for in a good pub. Fantastic drink selection, with some of the lowest prices in Brixton. Friendly, experienced barstaff. Cool, lively and mixed clientele. Eclectic & surprising music selection. Regular events - dj's every weekend, live bands, poetry nights and more. Small, attractive, leafy beer garden with outdoor heating and large smoking area.
If you would like to get to know artists closer, listen to some good music or are interested in buying some art than that's the best place to be.

The 3.5m heigh walls in Aytoun Place, at Stockwell !map! are commonly known to local writers who keep repainting them with colourful styles every weekend. The place is split into two rooms which used to be a basketball fields for a local community.
Both rooms will be used for the Splash art session.
